| Background |
This lesson describes how to change the color of the background of you web site.To do this you need to use the Style Manager. The style manager controls how the different sections of you page appear.
Some sections of your page are Body,Banner,Menus,and Main. Sections like Main are also made up of sub-sections. I'll get you started with changing the appearance of these things.
1)Click Style Manager at the top of page.
2)On the top control menu, click "Edit Bkgrd" underneath the Body column.
3) You should see a control with an input for color on the left, and a "color swatch" on the right. Click a color on the color swatch that you want the background of your site to be.
4)Click apply. Your background should have changed.
5) Next to Main Section, change the drop down menu to "top menu" .
6) repeat steps 3 and 4 above
7) Change the Main Section drop down menu to "main"
8) Next to the Sub Section, change the drop down menu to "head"
9)repeat steps 3 and 4 above
Try changing back of other sections using the same technique used above
