Our Story

That's what she said:

It was a Monday afternoon and I was at work frying some chicken as the deli manager announced a couple of new faces. I remember thinking to myself, "When are they gonna hire some hot guys in here?" Little did I know the magnitude of that moment. As the months went by, we would talk about what our future goals would be. As he talked about his accounting career, I would often imagine myself waiting for him to come home from a long day of crunching numbers; but then I realized we where both in relationships and I probably wasn't his type, anyway. Soon, we became closer friends and began to play pranks on each other. Pranks slowly became flirting, flirting eventually became feelings, and before I knew it, I was bringing my mother in and showing her the man that was gonna be mine. The icing on the cake was when I was on the phone with my sister, when I turned around to see him shaking his booty to the deli music. Right then and there, I knew I was going to spend the rest of my life with him. With the help of our friend Tara, we began dating and never looked back. Eight years later and his kisses still take my breath away.

.. And then, that's what he said:

It was my first day on the job in a new state, as my manager walked me back into the deli and introduced me to the rest of the staff. As I looked upon these unfamiliar faces, one stood out. The girl in the back frying some chicken caught my eye. As I once heard in an old movie, I would say she had a kind face. As the months went by, I began to know her. I soon began to realize that she had everything someone could want in a woman. She had a kind heart, great personallity, and made me laugh. Soon I would be excited when it was time for me to go to work; I loved being around this woman. I looked forward to seeing that goofy, no lip smile throughout the day. I always remembered that every time I would be around her, she would be chewing that gum and making loud blow pops. From that point on, I gave her the nickname Tootsy pop and it stuck ever since. We began joking around and playing pranks on each other. The pranks soon turned into flirting, which then transformed into feelings. There was one night when I decided to pull the all time prank on her. I loaded her whole car with balloons and posted a big sign with "just married". I even had empty cans dragging on the ground to boot. I remember telling my brother after I had just done the deed, that I was falling for Ana. With the help of our friend Tara, we began dating and we had a blast ever since. A month into our relationship, we confessed our love for each other and it was one of the best days in my life. From that point on, I knew I was in this for better or for worse and that I was going to spend the rest of my life with this woman. I couldn't ask for a better woman than my Tootsy pop.
