I am originally from the Northeast, but presently live for eight months of the year, with my pekes, in Palm Beach, Florida and in New Hampshire during the summer. I have been breeding and showing Pekingese for over 20 years.
My first really well-known winner was Ch. Claymore Cinnamon Bun, a multiple BIS winner. He was breeder/owner handled to his wins. Some of my Group winning Pekingese have included:
Ch. Knolland Slowboat To China
Ch. Morningstar Lionhart
Ch. Claymore Delphinium (Group-winning bitch)
Ch. Claymore Storm Warning (Delphinium's son) - #5 Peke for 1997
Ch. Claymore Summer Smoke
My current Special, multiple Best in Show and multiple Best in Specialty winning, is my homebred Ch. Claymore Opening Night. Nighter was a Group winner from the Puppy Classes. He is the #1 Pekingese in the Country. In a little over a year of specialing he has had four Best In Show and over 40 Group Firsts. Waiting in the wings and growing up is Nighter's son, Claymore Cause for Applause.
Claymore has been the home of numerous champions over the years and almost all of them are breeder/owner handled to their championships.
Claymore is proud to have been a contributor to several successful breeding programs both here and in Canada.
